It depends on what you want to do with it, if all you want is to make beats, and electronic music, then you would need the program, and a Midi Keyboard to play on. Those range in price, but can be had for maybe $ 60, and the sky’s the limit after that.

I started downloading reason 3.0 music program and it said after the second disk that i did not have enough memory to finish the download. please help any advise?

when it refers to space, it usually means the device that you are going to store it on I.E hard disk if you hard disk has insufficant space the download will halt, try changing the directory where you wish the download to go to. ie C:\ try another directory such as C:\mydocuments

I know in reason 3 i could do it by holding down control or something but none of those keys down there trigger this feature. In Logic I jus hold down control and it goes in to a fine tune type mode where I can adjust the length of a note precisely. How do I do this in Reason 4?
