Question by : How do I get my reason 2.5 program to work with my axiom25 keyboard?
The mini controller is not working. No sound coming out of the mini controller.

well, usually the sound isn’t suppose to come from the midi controller, but from your computer. Have you remembered to setup reason to run with your controller? Im not sure about 2.5, but in 3.0-4.0 it’s in edit > preferences > Keyboards and control surfaces
You also should check out if you wired it correct, and if the controller and reason even is compatible

Im currently making music with the program Reason 3.0 but it wont let me record verbal lyrics with a microphone. Does anyone know if there is a program out there that is free and would let me record my voice but still be able to save in reason?

there’s a program we have at my school called reason where it has a whole bunch of loops of sounds and stuff, and you create your own songs, I want to start making my own songs, but that program costs a couple hundreds dollars, and I’m not really willing to spend that much, so I was wondering if there might be a free program similar to it. I copied a pc version of Reason 4.0 and all it’s song files and refills from my external hard drive to my mac but haven’t been able to use those on my mac. Can I use the pc of Reason 4 on a mac somehow? And if I can’t can I at least use the song files I have?

no, they are designed for 2 different OS. You must buy a MAC version

I started downloading reason 3.0 music program and it said after the second disk that i did not have enough memory to finish the download. please help any advise?

when it refers to space, it usually means the device that you are going to store it on I.E hard disk if you hard disk has insufficant space the download will halt, try changing the directory where you wish the download to go to. ie C:\ try another directory such as C:\mydocuments

Im learning how to make music using the program Reason 4….I have made a base drum beat, now 8 counts into it, I want to add the high hat, how do I do that? Also, are there any good tutorials out there for beginners, You Tube Videos? Anything you might recommend? Thank You!
