If I’m buying a laptop and need to use recording software like Reason 4, for under $1000, what should I get?

Question by Hal: If I’m buying a laptop and need to use recording software like Reason 4, for under 00, what should I get?
I need a laptop for under $ 1000, and hopefully under $ 900 as well. I think it might take some real hunting or maybe even be impossible to do this, but if there was such a laptop that could easily handle software like Propellerhead’s Reason 4 that anyone knows, I would really appreciate the help.
I need it to be a PC

Hi Hal,

Office Max has laptops on sale right now. You can get an HP G-60-4420 for around $ 600. That comes with a Intel Pentium T4300 chip, Windows Vista Home Premium (64 bit), 4Gigs of RAM, a 320 Gig hard drive and the motherboard is 64bit. That should do you just fine. Plus, it has a number of other feature. I just bought one and I am happy with it. Check it out.

I have reason 4 and i love it but now me and my friends are trying to buy the right program to recor vocals with… We want one that is easy to use, has the best sound quality and effects and we would like to record live instruments as well…

Pro Tools 9 will work with Reason as well and it’s much more professional software.

One reason i say is because their not going to do nothing with the money but waste it.

1. too many earmarks that have nothing to do with banks or people losing their homes

2. it really doesn’t look like it’s going to help who matters (the homeowners) as much as it will be the banks that pushed the deregulation and then abused it.

3. it’s been too hastily put together, went from 3 pages to 451 pages and I believe jumped from $ 700B to $ 821B… (I could be wrong on the price tag of it, even though I could have sworn I saw an article about it this morning… but now I can’t find one to source :/ )

I agree that something needs to be done but I feel this will be the downfall of the American Economy… :/

Your 2nd question isnt making sense. “If a parent shows the child they are interested, the child may start to believe that school in general is not important”? Wouldnt parental invovlement teach the child that school in general IS important?

Anyways, a 3rd reason would be to make sure that the child is continuing their educational practices at home. For example, maybe the students practices certain words or reading tactics at school…and the parent should continue those at home to reinforce those helpful practices.

OR the parent could be part of the school board to make sure that the student’s best interests are truly at heart.

Question by Kristen: Who feels that people who use Propellerhead Reason are cheaters and should buy real the real instruments?
I have recently started started using Propellerhead Reason. Like I do when ever i start using something, I try to find negative and positive reviews. I have not been able to find one negative review.

This is what I am wondering.

Who is against Reason?

and

Who feels that people who use Reason are cheaters and should go buy the real instrument they are emulating if they want to be respectable musicians?

I don’t feel this, this is just something I am wondering
